Keep Air Pockets Out Of Your Cake
Happy fall!
I have been enjoying the cooler weather. I've also been busy this morning slicing watermelon, strawberries and baking pound cake. Yum...
I still haven't gotten my fall decorations up yet, but that's next on my agenda.
As I was preparing my pound cake batter, I wondered if you knew that you can eliminate air bubbles in your cake. After you have poured your batter into the pan, tap the pan slightly on the counter (2 to 3 times) before you place it in the oven. This will bring the air bubbles to the surface and eliminate any air pockets in your cake!
My next post will show you how to make your own whipped topping. It is so good!
Blessings!
Anna
