New Beginnings

Mercies

I don’t know about you, but I am a list maker. I am much more efficient at accomplishing tasks if I already have them mapped out on paper.  For years now, I have made New Year’s resolutions. I generally do pretty well at keeping them. However, I used to get discouraged when I failed and say “I’ll try again next year.” But I have come to realize that every day is a new beginning, a fresh start, a clean slate. Well, you get the picture. 

This sunrise recently reminded me that God’s mercies are new every morning. Every day we should be thankful that we can begin again. I hope the New Year brings you peace, health, joy, grace and hope that no matter what our circumstances, we can remain thankful for new beginnings.
