Be Creative - Part 2

In our home, one of the most frequently asked questions is,
“What’s for dinner”?
I repeat the answer more often than I would like to. Seems one child asks, and then a few minutes later, here comes the other one with the same question!  J
So I thought why not create a menu board. I had an empty antique frame that belonged to my Grandmother that I was not using. It is a very pretty frame and I had been looking for a use for it.  And one day I thought that it would be perfect to make a chalkboard out of and use it to write down daily menus!
I traced the outline of the frame on a piece of thin fiberboard, and then cut it out. Then I painted it with chalkboard spray paint. After the paint dried, I put the board in the frame and hung it on the wall. Now I have a unique chalkboard in the kitchen to write menus on. I have also used it to mark holidays and welcome guests! You could also use corkboard in place of a chalkboard if you prefer.
I apologize I didn’t get any pictures of this creative process. I guess I was just too excited!
Anyway, it has helped let everyone know what is on the menu for that day. The cost was quite minimal, and the sentimental value is priceless.
Blessings!
Love,
Anna

Also, your blog is so pretty!
